HALAL Certification
We acquired HALAL certificate.
Showa Kako acquired HALAL certificate from Japan Muslim Association for calcium lactate that we manufacture and sale.
"Halal certification" means certification given to foods, cosmetics, and medicines which are manufactured in safe and secure materials and production processes in accordance with the doctrine of Islam. It shows that people of Islam (Muslim) can use it with confidence.
This time, calcium lactate which we got certified has grades such as food additives, Japanese Pharmacopoeia, and feed additives. In addition, we have both DL (synthetic calcium lactate) and L (fermented calcium lactate).
As a result of this certification acquisition, we will promote sales of calcium lactate to Halal markets including Indonesia and Malaysia.
