Two large plants that provide wide-ranging production with latest technology
Since operations started in 1932, the Suita plant has steadily grown. It is here that the company's main production of organic acids and tin compounds takes place. This is also where the company's major research and development facilities are located. The site has also played a key role in the increasingly integrated central management of the company. To lay the foundation for more rapid progress, forming a core for research and development, a multipurpose pilot plant was built in 1985. This was followed by another multipurpose pilot plant in 1989 and then, in 1996, by a specialized plant for pharmaceutical intermediates.

The company transferred operations in northern Osaka City from the Toyosaki site, which had housed company facilities since 1934, to a site in nearby Juhachijo-cho.As part of the manufacturing division of Showa Kako, the Mikuni Plant has been as busy as the Suita Plant. Production at the synthetic manufacturing facilities in the plant now encompasses many organic compounds, including naphthol dyes, fluorescent dyes and azoic dispersive dyes.
